When we were first contacted by the HESMO for the localisation of the “ESMO Recommendations for a Global Curriculum in Medical Oncology”, edition 2016, there were only two words to express our determination and willingness to undertake this challenge: “HELL, YES!” Now, that this amazing work is over, all that is left is a secret feeling of pride for a meticulously-executed project that we will treasure and refer to in the years to come. Awaiting for the official release/publication of the guidelines, there is one last thing to be said in public: “BRAVO, team!”

Maria is a hybrid!
On first acquitance you may say that Maria is a physician or a biologist, but the truth is that she started off as a linguist (a Classicist to be exact!) approximately 20 years ago and then moved on to Language Technology and Machine Translation where she met with the amazing world of research and pharmaceuticals that hasn’t abandoned ever since!
Holding an ultra solid academic background, almost a decade in R&D and diverse communication experiences in a multi-pharmaceutical setting, Maria, spends her day, every day, in front of a multi-tasking screen making sure that both our external and internal clients enjoy the full benefits of our collaboration, and never hesitates to jump in and help whenever help is needed!
